For urgent dental problems outside normal working hours please telephone the NHS emergency dental services on 111.  Your problem will be assessed by a health adviser and if you need to be seen then they will advise you as to the appropriate arrangements.

For those Denplan patients who are away from home, either here or abroad, a special emergency service is offered by Denplan.  Contact them on

INJEX alternative to injections
Approximately 10% of the adult population have a "needle phobia". We are pleased to be able to offer "needle-free injections" using the INJEX system, a finejet of local anaesthetic is delivered in a fraction of a second. There is no needle and no part of the device penetrates the skin. Because the quantity is so small you do not get the widespread numbness often associated with normal local anaesthetic. Ask at reception for the cost.

Private and NHS Treatment
Private treatment is available under the Denplan scheme, or alternatively patients can opt to "pay-as-you-go".  Click here to find out more about Denplan.

We are not taking on new NHS patients, so only offer NHS treatment to patients who are already registered with this practice.

Hygiene Control
We practice strict hygiene control in the surgery environment.  All equipment is either autoclaved (sterilised) or disposed of in a safe manner after every patient.
